About Vincent Lords

Vincent Lords has been hailed by audiences and critics alike to be one of today's top innovative rising entertainers. In addition to Vincent's creative drive to make the ordinary extraordinary he has once again redefined an age-old performing art and given it a new modern edge. In his critically acclaimed Hypnotic comedy stage production HypnotiZZZed, Lords has changed the way people look at Hypnosis in a positive and entertaining way adding his own creative touch and allowing everyone in the audience to experience the magic of the mind by not only watching the show but by being the show. Lords' approach to his often misunderstood craft has transformed the way others look at the theater of the mind, "Hypnosis". His celebrated feats and sense of theater have won over the hearts of several of the great pioneers in the art of Hypnosis.

However Lords is no stranger to sacrifice and hard work when it comes to earning his place in the tough industry of entertainment where only the strong survive. Lords was influenced by Illusionist Ralph Adams, JR. that lived nearby teaching Lords his first magic trick and rule to live by. Adams said. "When you believe in magic, nothing is impossible". Lords still uses that quote as a foundation for all his accomplishments. At age 8 Lords was performing magic shows for his friends and school talent shows in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. When Lords was 10 he began to work for several local Haunted attractions raising money for the needy. This would go on for almost 10 years giving Lords a noteworthy reputation in the industry also earning him several awards for his artistry and honing his skills as a stage performer.

By age 21 Lords headlined his first stage show "Circus of the Strange" combining the early circus style of PT Barnum with modern day magic and Illusions. Lords and his troupe became a popular Halloween attraction for many of the top clubs and theaters for almost 7 years. This began building a foundation for his name and talents to become a unique and popular draw for those that wanted something new and different, Vincent Lords was the ticket to see!

Lords began work of his latest Project "Hypnosis" and for almost one year he wrote, produced and stared in his Hypnotic review "HypnotiZZZed" but this would be no ordinary Hypnosis show! Combining the ancient art Hypnosis with an MTV like video production, complete with props, lights, dancers and Illusions, to go beyond the traditional Hypnosis show most have seen and experience in the past, creating the fullest visual possible. Today (Vincent Lords' HypnotiZZZed) is a popular draw for audiences and critics alike. Lords plans to take it to yet another level in the near future as he created a cast of specialists, properly named the "Dream team", to redesign and redream the whole Hypnotic experience. Telling people to be prepared for the Ultimate in entertainment. Lords says it will be like Disneyland packed into a 2 hr show!

What will be next? In the process of writing his first book about his life long journeys and the experiences along the way, Lords has climbed several great mountains and claims this is only the tip on the ice burg. He plans to continue his journey until everyone has had a chance to experience his dreams as he searches for his next outlet of creativity. Of all his accomplishments, Lords insists his greatest gift is the ability to look past logic and create wonder in those he meets. Making them see the true magic in the life that is all around us all the time if we just open our eyes and look, it is there for us to enjoy. The rest is in your imagination.

When asked how he does what he does. He simply refers back to what was told to him early in life when he saw his first magic by that special person that started it all over 20 years ago. "When you believe in magic, nothing is impossible." BELIEVE!
