"Delusional" Up Close and PersonalMay 5, 2010

Comedy Hypnotist Vincent Lords and his crew have opened the first 8 shows of the new hypnotic production "Delusional" at the Castle of Chaos in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new showroom called "SLEEPWALKERS LOUNGE" located inside the Castle of Chaos offers guests an intimate setting to see the show up close and personal unlike his past shows that were being performed in Grand Theaters. Vincent's goal was to create a more intimate showroom where the action could take place in several areas of the showroom unlike most traditional stage shows where the action is limited to the stage. This new approach gives the show a much more interactive experience for not only the volunteers but for the spectators as well. "I love working this room," says Vincent, "because I can see and hear the reaction of the audience from the stage, before it was like the subjects and I on stage and somewhere in the distance was the audience separated from the live experience. The new showroom allows a much better view and experience that is right in front of you as well as all around you. Many Theaters are getting bigger and trying to achieve maximum seating and becoming more like arenas and stadiums, by doing this I feel you lose the intimate feel of live Theater. I might be taking a backwards approach by creating a smaller showroom, but the experience is much more real and believable when you can be so close to the action! What you see is what you get and the action around you will consume your reality making you part of the magic!"
